Kim Coutts is our Groups and Events Coordinator here at Moness Resort and she has been a valuable part of our team for 2 years now, having brought a wealth of experience from past roles organising group and incentive travel, tours and events.

Read on to find out a little more about Kim and the work she does here at Moness Resort.

1. Describe a day in the life of your role as Meeting and Events Coordinator?

“To be honest, there is no typical day here at Moness! My role is so varied and requires me to have many hats on depending on what season we are in or events we have coming up.

One day I could be focused on answering calls and responding to enquiries and another I could be meeting clients, working with chef to finalise menus that fit an event’s budget and scope or ensuring that our operations team have set up an event just as a client expects. That’s what I enjoy about my job though, the juggling of responsibilities as well as keeping everything on track to make an event a success.”

2. What is your favourite event that you’ve held here?

“We have recently hosted the National Jaguar Weekend that saw over 120 classic car owners come together for a four-day event touring the landscapes of Perthshire. Moness is the ideal destination for car clubs as the local area offers scenic and winding roads perfect for driving and our resort has a choice of accommodation options and leisure facilities as well as private dining space and a marquee for more formal dinners and award ceremonies. 

The National Jaguar Weekend was such a success and the whole Moness team got such a buzz from hosting those attending. Thank you for taking the time to give us this special testimonial too”:
