The Blair Castle features 30 full rooms on display for you to peruse at your leisure and being dated back to 1269, has plenty of signs of transformation through the ages for you to soak in. The final result of a baronial style Victorian Castle stems from a history of cold medieval strategic positioning in political times prior to being a pleasant Georgian Mansion.
Go on a Castle Tour and enjoy all that Blair Castle has including its beautiful Gardens, Attic Tour, well-stocked Gift Shop and very own Restaurant. You can even arrange to have your own private guided tour, enquire about whether a different language might be available. Private lunches can also be pre-arranged within the Garry Room for up to 35 people.
As well as enjoying all that the Indoors has to offer, the extensive Castle Grounds and Parklands can be thoroughly enjoyed by all. Not only are there numerous walks and trails to explore, but there is also the restored 9 acre Hercules Garden to savour and magnificent woodland to discover. A further fantastic treat is the nearby Pony Trekking Centre and Woodland Adventure Playground for Children to indulge in.
Parking is available free within 100 metres of the Impressive Castle and full room notes are provided in eight different languages. Guide books are available in English, French, German and Italian, catering for a whole variety of visitor needs.
