White Water Rafting
Included in our white water rafting trips is all equipment, transport on and off the river, professional guides on each raft, trip leader on each trip and operations manager on dry land. Photography is included which ensures everyone goes away with lots of photos of their white water rafting adventure trip.
This half day trip is about 6 miles long, from Aberfeldy to Grandtully. Here the river winds lazily along the Tay valley, through rolling hills and stunning scenery. This is an area with a diverse wildlife, which is best seen from the river. The paddle crew has ample opportunity to practice their newly learnt rafting skills before the river drops away and creates challenging rapids that flow down to Grandtully. Rapids such as 'Zoom Flume' and 'The Washing Machine' keep people on their toes! Grandtully rapid is where the trip ends. This is the longest rapid on the river and provides one or two surprises for the unwary rafter. The perfect introduction to rafting.
This trip is available Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun each week and by arrangment on Thur and Fri. Times are 0930hrs and 1300hrs each day. Good for families – minimum age 8yrs.
Situated just north of Pitlochry, the River Tummel is like no other in Scotland. The experience will get you working together to help the guide take the raft from the beautiful deep pools, down through technical rapids such as 'Zig-Zag' and 'Sharks Tooth'. The main part of the trip is grade 2-3 preparing you for the 'piece de la resistance', a two tier, 18 foot drop (grade 4) into the mystical Loch Faskally where you float away from the falls towards home reflecting upon it' power and beauty.
This trip is available every Saturday and Sunday, June – end September. Minimum age 16yrs.
If you are looking for the most challenging, exciting and pure adrenaline buzzing whitewater then this is for you! Run as a day trip you will cover ten miles of this river, running through nine major grade 3, 4 and 5 or rapids . Anyone wishing to raft this river must be able to move at fairly short notice to take advantage of the best possible conditions. This is not a river for the faint of heart - raft if you dare!! This trip is recommended for individuals and groups who have rafted before or are water sports and adventure enthusiasts.
Trip runs October to March depending on water levels. Over 18s only. Previous experience required.
A half day canyon trip, includes lots of jumps, slides down natural rock chutes and swimming though white water pools.
Everyday mid March to end October (depending on temperatures). Minimum age 12yrs.
A half day advance canyon trip, jumps, slides and a lower down the face of a waterfall.

What do Splash guides do when they have time off? They head for the hills en-mass on their mountain bikes. Several of the guides have been biking for years and are fully qualified mountain bike leaders. Do not be put off by the thought of lots of uphill. We can structure the day so you can spend the majority of the time going downhill!
